About this course
Every breath you teach, guide, or take yourself moves through a body — muscles contracting, bones articulating, air finding its way through passages shaped by millions of years of evolution. Most breathwork training stops at technique. This course goes underneath it, into the actual structures and physiology that make breath possible, so you're no longer just repeating a pattern you were taught — you understand exactly what you're working with, and why it works.
Built around four movements — Structure, Function, Sensation, and Integration — this course gives you: the muscles, bones, ligaments and fascial webs that create the mechanics of breath, clearly explained and illustrated; the respiratory physiology behind why and how you actually breathe, from blood gases to mitochondria to oxidative stress; the passages and structures air travels through on every inhale and exhale; and a substantial body of embodied practice — around 70 practices woven through 79 videos across 7 modules — built to help you feel each of these structures at work in your own body, not just know about them.
None of this is meant to stay in your head. Every module pairs its anatomy and physiology with practice — the diaphragm's real range of motion, what a genuinely mobile ribcage feels like, where your own breath quietly gets stuck. Whether you're a beginner practitioner or an experienced teacher, this is the difference between knowing about breath and knowing breath, well enough in your own body to pass that knowing on to someone else.
