Yogasara Workshop

Fierce Compassion Meta-Skills For The Modern Age And The Evolution Of Humanity
Why?
Global wisdom traditions through millennia speak of methods to directly apprehend the nature of what it is to be human, intimately connected to and as the cosmos (and beyond!). The overall vision of this weekend workshop is the arising freedom of the realisation of relentlessly fierce compassion as the triplicity of appearances - emptiness, energy and form - none other than this moment of unicity.
What?
The direct realisation of intimacy, samsara as nirvana, and how we perceive this triplicity, is commonly approached and sustained by methods, skilful means, or in modern parlance, meta-skills.
These meta-skills can include practices for the body, the breath, the emotions, the mind, vibration, and practices of community, creativity, and ecology.
The ecology of mind itself, created by the lucid relationship between these practices and how they foment this direct realisation invites an integral experience of the depth nature that we all are, when we finally cease being who we think we are, who we want to become, or who we believe we should be.
Many yogic texts, Shaivist, Shakta, and Buddhist, as well as some depth Shamanic teachings point towards this realised knowledge, this union of compassion and wisdom, bliss and emptiness (the never void, and empty of empty!).
Inconceivable emptiness, energy and form are then known as the inconceivable primordial pregnancy, quantum foam manifesting as the appearances of separation and the weave of space-time, out of which we learn to craft our limited ‘identity’, along with all the suffering, struggle, turmoil, opinionated positioning, and warfare this activity induces.
Freedom arises when we simply cease doing this.

Who Is Christopher And Why Work With Him?
Christopher Gladwell is a seasoned breathwork, yoga and meditation practitioner with over 50 years of wisdom and direct personal experience. He combines breathwork, yoga, meditation, embodied movement, mind mastery, and neuro and evolutionary biology to help you achieve optimal well-being.
With a background in biology, martial arts and athletics, as well as a passion for breath techniques, and cellular level rejuvenation, Christopher’s journey into breath training began as a teenager in the military. His interests expanded to martial arts, deep yoga, meditation, and indigenous traditions. He has studied at depth in all the above practices as well as Vedic pranayama and Conscious Connected breathing. Having been initiated into Vedic, Tibetan and Shamanic traditions and given authority to teach, you can also let go of the righteous modern concerns of expropriation.
Christopher's expertise also extends to psychotherapeutic modalities, body-based therapies, and a deep understanding of different meditative practices from Vedic to Taoist and Tibetan traditions. His teachings are also rooted in scientific knowledge, and he emphasizes the importance of the scientific method. Throughout his career, Christopher has worked with diverse groups, including athletes and people with disabilities; those struggling with mental health, and those seeking to optimize their well-being; single mothers and young people; trauma survivors; educational settings; and corporate teams. Christopher has authored numerous books on contemporary yogic psychology, mind skills, and breathwork, sharing his insights on achieving resilience, joy, inner peace, personal empowerment and realisation. His latest volumes on the science of breathwork are now released and available worldwide.
Passionate about creating a world of kind, aware, empowered, and fiercely compassionate individuals, who resonate with discipline, transparency, and ecological wisdom, Christopher believes that breath is the penultimate teacher, connecting us all.
Christopher elucidates the necessity of deep daily discipline as the fount of sustainable freedom, without which there is no lasting freedom.
Christopher's teaching has been said to be like marmite, if you like marmite you will love his wild, fiercely compassionate, ceremonially rich, and challenging teaching that has been described by many as powerfully transformative, liberating, enjoyable, and necessary, critical for our times.
Join us for this weekend of fierce compassion, deep practice and sacred inquiry into the very heart of existence, the human experience and how to live with creativity, power and veracity.
